Trip Overview
Enjoy an unforgettable day at Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. From Cusco, we take a scenic tourist train through the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains, rivers and cloud forest, to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus takes us up to the citadel, where a professional guide leads us through its main structures, including the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana and the Main Square. Afterwards, we head down to Aguas Calientes for lunch and return to Cusco by train in the afternoon.

Tour
After a ride through stunning landscapes, we arrive in Aguas Calientes, where we take the bus up to the Lost City of the Incas, the most famous example of Inca architecture, revealed to the world in 1911. We enjoy a guided tour of its main structures: the Lookout, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana and the Main Square, among others.

Local Experience
At the end of the tour, we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant.

Return
In the afternoon, we board the train back to Cusco, followed by a transfer to the hotel.
