How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 30 to 60 days ahead for domestic trips and 2 to 4 months for international destinations. For long weekends and high season (July, December and Easter) book earlier to secure better fares and availability.

What does a travel package usually include?

Accepted Answer

Every package lists what is included: generally transportation, accommodation, transfers, the tours stated in the itinerary and ongoing assistance. Personal expenses, tips, entrance fees not listed and meals not mentioned are excluded unless stated.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers, deposits, Yape, Plin and credit or debit cards. When you confirm your booking you will receive the details of CirucTravel's official accounts and your payment receipt.

Can I pay in installments or book with a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For most packages you can hold your trip with a deposit and pay the balance before the departure date. The deposit amount and payment dates are stated in your quote.

What documents do I need to travel?

For domestic trips you need a valid national ID (and birth certificate or ID for minors). For international trips, a passport valid for at least 6 months and, depending on the destination, a visa, travel insurance or vaccination certificates. We guide you through each country's requirements.

Can children or minors travel?

Yes. Minors travel with a responsible adult and many packages offer special child rates. If a minor travels internationally without both parents, a notarized travel authorization is required.

Can I change my travel dates?

In most cases yes, subject to availability and the policies of airlines, hotels and operators. Some changes may involve fare differences or penalties. Contact us as soon as you need to reschedule so we can find the best option.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Conditions depend on each supplier and are detailed in your quote before payment. Generally, the closer the departure date, the higher the penalty. Non-refundable services are clearly identified in the proposal.

Is travel insurance included?

Some packages include it and in others it is optional. We always recommend it: it covers medical assistance, lost luggage and cancellations for covered reasons. We can quote it together with your trip.

Yes. We issue electronic receipts or invoices in the name of the person or company making the payment. We only need your billing details when you confirm the booking.
