Dream Peru: all of Peru in one trip, from the coast to Lake Titicaca. We start with a City Tour of modern and colonial Lima and the Santo Domingo Convent. We travel to Paracas to sail to the Ballestas Islands and to Ica for a wine and pisco tasting, the Huacachina oasis, dune buggies and sandboarding. In Cusco we tour the city and its ruins, the Sacred Valley with a buffet lunch, Machu Picchu by train, Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain. We continue along the Route of the Sun to Puno, with Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, buffet lunch, La Raya Pass and Pukará, and finish sailing Lake Titicaca to the floating Uros islands and Taquile. Airport reception and hotel transfer. In the afternoon, Intihuatana Park on the Miraflores boardwalk, San Isidro, Huaca Pucllana (outside) and El Olivar Park. Then the Historic Center, a World Heritage Site: San Martín Square, Main Square, Government Palace and Cathedral, and the Santo Domingo Convent. Overnight in Lima.
Early bus to Paracas (Cruz del Sur or similar). Boat trip to the Ballestas Islands to see 'The Candelabra', sea lions, penguins and seabirds. In Ica, El Catador winery with a tasting of wines, piscos and cachinas, and the Huacachina Oasis. Dune buggies and sandboarding lesson. Return to Lima.
Flight to Cusco and hotel transfer. In the afternoon, Cathedral, Qoricancha and the ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Overnight in Cusco.
Pisac and the villages of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba, with a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, guided visit to Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Cusco.
Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and bus to the citadel. Guided tour of the Lookout, Temple of the Three Windows, Intihuatana and Main Square. Lunch in Aguas Calientes and train back to Cusco.
4:00 a.m. departure to Soraypampa, breakfast and a 1.5-hour climb to the turquoise lake (4,200 m a.s.l.). Lunch and return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m.
4:00 a.m. departure to the foothills of Ausangate. Breakfast, guided hike to Vinicunca and box lunch. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
6:45 a.m. tourist bus to Puno, visiting the Andahuaylillas Chapel ('Sistine Chapel of the Andes'), the Raqchi complex, buffet lunch at La Pascana, La Raya Pass (4,335 m) and the Pukará Lithic Museum. Arrival in Puno at 5:00 p.m. Overnight in Puno.
6:30 a.m. boat to the floating Uros islands, built of totora reeds. We continue to Taquile, famous for its textile art recognized by UNESCO. Traditional lunch: quinoa soup, trout and muña tea. Return to Puno.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. End of our services.
